Kalank Song, Tabaah Ho Gaye: Madhuri Dixit Gracefully Expresses Sorrow Of Separation
After Alia Bhatt's Ghar More Pardesiya, here comes another Indian dance number from Karan Johar's Kalank. The song, titled Tabaah Ho Gaye, sees Madhuri spilling some magic with her dance moves. The song depicts Bahar Begum's sorrow of separation.

Shreya Ghoshal has lent her voice, while the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya- music has been composed by Pritam. The 2-minute long video sees the graceful Madhuri dancing to the steps of choreographer, Saroj Khan, who has teamed-up with Madhuri in many films to deliver hits. Watch the video:

Madhuri recently opened up on collaborating with Master Saroj Khan after long. She  had told IANS, "Saroj ji is one of the choreographers I have collaborated with who goes beyond the surface of lyrics of a song when she choreographs. In cinema, we tend to create steps keeping the camera angle in mind. But Saroj ji doesn't limit the dance in physical movements." She further added, "She finds a spiritual aspect and works on expressions. She knows how to make a woman look graceful and beautiful through a dance. Perhaps that is why every song we did together, holds a recall value even today. If the youngsters are still dancing to those numbers, I think we did something right.”

When Madhuri’s first look from the song was unveiled yesterday, netizen didn’t wait long to compare Bahaar Begum’s Tabaah Ho Gaye with Devdas' Maar Dala. During her recent interview with DNA, the diva reacted on the same said, “Bahaar Begum is a different personality than say a Chandramukhi. So, we had to choreograph (the song) keeping her mentality in mind. The challenge in this was that Bahaar Begum’s character is such that given a choice maybe she wouldn’t have danced also. Her character is like that.” Coming back to Tabaah Ho Gaye, how did you like the song? Leave your comments below.
